Epcot's International Festival of the Arts "celebrates the creation of art & cuisine." This is Epcot's newest festival, but has quickly become a fan favorite. Starting in 2017, this festival was only held during the weekends from mid January to mid February. Originally to help entice people to visit Walt Disney world during the colder months of winter. In 2018, during its second year, the festival ran every day from January 12th to February 19th.
Festival of the Arts is definitely one of my favorite Epcot festivals to go to. The weather is cold, there's less people at the parks, and the food is outstanding!

This paint palette cookie for instance. Though it is only.a generic chocolate chip cookie, with adding the ability to have someone "paint" with the icing. The experience becomes some what magical. Something so simple as being able to play with your food, on purpose, makes an ordinary chocolate chip cookie a masterpiece & a festival of the arts cult classic!

Another fan favorite at Epcot's festival of the Arts is all the picture spots around the park. This one, based off of The Birth of Venus by Sandro Botticelli, lets you stand inside the iconic painting and take the place of Venus.
Something else that happens during Festival of the Arts, is all the art! It is everywhere, all over the parks & in booths where you can buy art of your favorite characters. You can also spot hidden portraits of you favorite characters around the world showcase, like Abu in the Morocco pavilion, pictured below. If you're headed into the World showcase and are walking towards the hardest decision of your life, do you start in Mexico or Canada? Look down. There is sidewalk chalk art of your favorite characters or scenes, & they are breath taking!
Going to Walt Disney World during Epcot's Festival of the Arts, let us know what you are excited to see, taste, and experience.
Epcot's Festival of the Arts runs from January 13th to February 20th.
